Game 4 Anand – Carlsen World Chess Match: Berlin Defence Troubles Anand, but Thrilling Game ends in Draw
Game 4 was another thrilling chess battle at the Anand – Carlsen World Chess Championship 2013 in Chennai today. Magnus Carlsen played his favoured Berlin and was a pawn up pretty soon enough. But, Black was unable to convert the advantage into a win despite having the advantage for most of the game. Anand did say at the press conference that Black had some winning chances though, Carlsen said he could not find any clear win. Anand also pulled out a draw from a time scramble. Thursday is the second rest day at the World Chess Championship. You can access the official website at this link and a nice report at Chess Blog.
